Disable error reports in windows

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

Most of the time Microsoft's Error Reporting feature is a bit disturbing for many of us. This is because these reports are useless, they are of no use. So in this post I'll teach you how to disable Microsoft's Error Reporting feature.

For windows Xp users:

  • Right click on My Computer icon on the desktop and click properties
  • Go to the Advance tab
  • Click on a button named "Error Reporting" at the bottom of the window
  • Select "Disable Error Reporting" and click Ok button
For windows Vista users:
  • Open Control Panel from the Start menu
  • Under Advanced option, open Problem Reports & Solutions applet
  • Disable the Error Reporting
